Life, full of grace

It's been ringing through my head throughout this whole week. The amount of grace God has bestowed upon me to not only assimilate to the culture, but jump out of my comfort zones while living in Honduras is truly amazing.

Living in Honduras I am…

1) scaling mountains
2) eating rice and beans everyday
3) playing street soccer
4) rock climbing in river canyons
5) swinging from trees
6) sleeping in a tent
7) cooking Honduran meals
8) teaching English in a Honduran public school
9) washing clothes by hand
10) dodging larger-than-life water spiders

Things that would normally annoy me, such as a cultural characteristic of not valuing time , or intimidate me, like playing street soccer against talented Honduran teenagers, I am fully embracing and loving.

Almost daily it runs through my head the realization of the life I am living here. God's grace is abundant. Abundant enough to not just let me survive and live admits the culture, but love it and embrace it fully.

Feeling thankful for God's presence throughout this trip and for the ways he continually shows me he is working and is enough for me!

::My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses:: 2 Corinthians 12:9
